If you work out these calculations that currently earn more than Chris - no need to rush into setting up a blog. But I hope that Christopher, and perhaps I myself (although it does not intend to publish their income from blogging) at some point get a better result and this will motivate you

I also decided to make money on blogs. Like you, I think that's a great way of earning money, but that does not fully agree with what you write this in terms of 'pay' for a post.
Referring to your example - assume that Chris no longer write. Earnings probably will decline over time, but it will not be zero. In fact, so from month to month "salary" for the post increases.

Luke, I do not agree with you on the "much less". I can not rich experience in this area, but already have a popup that shows that a specific post earns all the time. Of course, with time he will earn less per month, but total earnings obtained through the post will grow.
For simplicity, assume that to write the article is devoted to one hour. On-time for it be getting about 17 PLN. And how is it on the blog?
In the first month, let's say you have earned 50 PLN, but this does not mean that in oklejnych not earn extra money.

The difference of our views is apparent from various points of view on this subject. Ty looks to the future (IMHO - very predictable), and I look back - from the viewpoint of a specific job performance and income from it.
Of course, you believe that any post (commercial) will be earned for example in the next two years and then come 10zł/mc that this particular hour of your time was worth 240 zł for example.
Note however that if you want to have regular readers, and constant traffic to your blog - you write regularly, not every post will be "commercial".
The time spent on writing "commercial" posts are also your time.
